Future Work
Flapjack is an active project and is therefore continually evolving in fetures and functionality. The following list attempts to collate together some of the ideas and plans that may appear in an upcoming Flapjack version.

In active development
- Support for QTL data (data management).
- Multiple "tracks" of QTL visualization above the current map.
- QTL interaction: selections mapped to markers/regions/etc.
Other plans
- Sorting of lines by clustering with display of dendrogram/tree.
- Sort or cluster by phenotypic data and use cluster diagrams as a selection tool.
- Import of line orders from external files.
- Advanced find/filter tool - find and select lines and markers by any combination of name, trait data, genotype information, QTL, etc.
- Pedigree View (mathematical graph), with nodes displaying coupled graphical genotype or trait data.
- Haplotype block viewer.
- Alignment of other data - Bowman mutant NIL introgressed segments; LD heat-map.
