Each of the 27 images below represents a single molecular marker derived from a single retrotransposon insertion in the pea genome, scored in 1536 different samples of pea. Each spot is a different DNA sample scored for the marker.For this project (the Grain Legumes Integrated Project, or GLIP), 1536 new pea samples from various European collections of pea were compared against the pea samples in the John Innes Pisum Collection, using the 27 best-performing markers from the former study (see 'Molecular Data > Pea RBIP data > RBIP Data Version 1).
